The father of a missing Kirkcaldy teenager has pleaded for his daughter to make contact.
Elisabeth Toledo has not been heard from since she went missing from the Smeaton area of the town on Monday September 11.
Despite a possible sighting of the 17-year-old in the town’s Alison Street on Friday evening, she has still not made contact with either her parents or the authorities.
Her father Joe Toledo, who lives in the United States, has spoken of his concern and urged his daughter to make it known that she is safe.
“Her mother and I are very worried about her,” he said in an online post.
“We want her to know that she isn’t in trouble and we just want to know she is okay. We would give anything to know this.
“Elisabeth please call home, or come home, or walk into a police station. We love you very much and need to know you’re safe.”
Elisabeth — known as Libbi — suffers from mental health issues, autism, and ADHD and currently stays at an assisted living facility in Kirkcaldy.
She also has links to the Angus area, recently staying for three days a week with her mother in Brechin.
Libbi is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, with dark blonde hair, hazel eyes and sometimes wears glasses.
She was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt, which has white logos all over the front, a grey-coloured hoodie and blue jeans.
The teenager is also known to wear Uggs or black military-style boots and a camouflage jacket or a burgundy hoodie.
On Monday, her mother said that she is getting “more worried and scared” as the days pass by without any contact from Libbi.
Judi Toledo, who lives in Brechin, said: “I’m worried sick. I have all this rubbish in my head but I am closing my mind to certain possibilities.”
Anybody with information regarding Libbi’s whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
