The casualties were taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Kirkcaldy with minor injuries. It is understood nobody else was injured in the incident involving two cars and a van. The accident happened on the A909 near Mossmorran chemical plant at around 9.20am on Thursday. The road was closed until midday while emergency services worked at the scene. Fire crews also attended.
