Drivers are used to occasional disruptions on the Tay Road Bridge — but this one really takes some beaking. Motorists had to have their wits about them this morning when a swan decided to walk across the bridge rather than wing it to Fife. A passenger in a car heading south managed to photograph the bizarre sight, and said: “The swan was just walking south over the bridge. “It caused a few cars to make some dodgy manoeuvres to avoid it. I hope it was OK.” The bridge remained open throughout the bird’s morning stroll. The fate of the swan remains unknown. A spokeswoman for the Tay Road Bridge said she wasn’t aware of the bird having caused traffic disruption this morning.
