The skating rink will be up and running for most of December and into the new year.
A five-star Fife hotel will be transformed into a winter wonderland this year with the addition of an outdoor skating rink.
The Fairmont St Andrews hopes the new attraction will not only prove popular with guests but also local people and visitors to the area when it opens on Saturday December 9.
The skating rink will be located adjacent to the front entrance of the hotel and will be open daily from 10am to 9pm until January 6.
Those behind the plans say the skating rink will also be environmentally friendly and made with synthetic ice.
A skating rink is a feature of Fairmont hotels throughout the world over the festive period, although it is the first time the St Andrews venue has embraced the concept.
