Concern is growing for the safety of a Chinese man last seen leaving a train in North Queensferry.
Xingshaui Hu boarded a train at Waverley station in Edinburgh at 10.35 on Friday evening.
He arrived at North Queensferry station at 11pm.
The 23-year-old has not been seen since and concern is growing for his welfare.
Some of his personal belongings have been found near the Forth Road Bridge.
Police are carrying out inquiries across this area, Edinburgh and Fife to find him.
He is described as being 5ft 7in, average build, with brown eyes and black hair.
Inspector Steven Stewart said: “We want to trace Xingshaui as soon as possible to ensure he’s alright and anyone with information should contact police immediately.”
He urged the missing man to let police know he is safe and well.
