The company, which supplies cigarettes and tobacco products to retailers, announced 2,500 redundancies across the UK. Staff at the company’s Scottish depot in Pitreavie Business Park will be paid wages for November. They found out on Tuesday that just 31 workers would be retained at the Dunfermline depot while the company winds down. It happened on the same day 250 redundancies were announced at Rosyth dockyard.
