UPDATE: Missing man Billy Duff found safe and well

Police who appealed for information to trace a Kirkcaldy man reported missing on Thursday say he has been found safe and well.

Billy Duff, 67, had been last seen at around 10am on Thursday November 30 in the Valley Gardens area of the town.

Officers said they were growing concerned for Billy, who had his black and white collie dog Marley with him, and launched a social media appeal.

However, a spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed on Friday afternoon that he had been traced.
