A driver had a lucky escape on Sunday evening after the car he was driving overturned near Glenrothes.
A Lexus ended up on its side in the accident on the B921 between Kinglassie and Glenrothes at around 5.10pm, near to Glenrothes Golf Course.
The male driver of the car, which had been travelling eastbound, managed to get out of the vehicle before the emergency services arrived, and he was said to be badly shaken up.
However, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said ambulance personnel checked the man over as a precaution and he did not need hospital treatment.
The road was partially blocked for a short time while the vehicle was recovered.
