Emergency services attend road accident in St Andrews

Ambulance crews were called to a road accident in St Andrews.

Two cars collided shortly before 8am on Tuesday, on the A91 Cupar to St Andrews road near the Old Course.

It is understood the occupants of both cars escaped serious injury.

However, police confirmed that one casualty had been taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for a precautionary check.

Fire crew also attended.
