Police are continuing to investigate the death of a man in a Leven flat earlier this week.
Officers had cordoned off the property in the town’s High Street following the discovery of a body on Wednesday.
While the death is not thought to be suspicious, officers are continuing to treat the fatality as “unexplained”.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “Police were called to an address in Leven High Street on the afternoon of Wednesday January 31 to reports of concern for the safety of a man within.
“Officers attended and found a man deceased.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
