Police are appealing for witnesses after receiving reports of suspicious behaviour within the toilets of a Dunfermline supermarket.
The incident took place in the female toilets of the Halbeath store at around 8.30pm on Thursday.
Officers are looking to speak to a young girl, who is described as white, aged between 11-13 years-old, 5ft 3”-5ft 5”, slim build, brown hair which was possibly tied up in a ponytail or a bun.
She was wearing a grey hooded top with “54” in large white print on the front, black leggings, possibly Adidas branded and green trainers.
DCI Scott Cunningham, said: “We are looking to identify and trace the young girl in relation to a report of suspicious behaviour to assist with ongoing enquiries.
“She was in the company of an adult man after the incident and both are witnesses we are keen to speak to.”
