A child is continuing to receive medical treatment in hospital following an accident that took place in Fife.
The child was injured in a collision with a vehicle at Carnock Road, Oakley, on Sunday, around 4.55pm and then taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh by ambulance.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said the child was “continuing” to receive medical treatment at the hospital for injuries sustained in the incident.
He confirmed they attended the scene at 4.55 pm on Sunday after a report of a road collision involving one vehicle.
The spokesperson added: “Inquiries are ongoing into the matter.”
The A907 between Sir George Bruce Road and Station Road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out.
