It’s been an unprecedented spell of heavy snow, bitter winds and difficult – nigh impossible – driving conditions which has seen all Fife schools closed, trains cancelled and forced many people to take time off work or at least work from home.
But the so-called Beast from the East hasn’t all been bad.
It’s transformed otherwise familiar landscapes into winter wonderlands.
