Helen Morris shared the footage of an unnamed man struggling through thigh-deep snow to feed horses in Dunfermline.
Dressed in high-visibility clothing and clutching a black back, the man has to rest several times in the space of a few metres due to the effort needed to move through the snow.
Helen told The Courier: “My horses are just kept along from our house so the day started with my husband and I setting out to feed the horses and getting stuck in a snowdrift in our jeep.
“We had to get towed out by our local farmer who has spent the past couple of days rescuing people and clearing roads. He’s been amazing.
“We then couldn’t get up our farm track so had to climb walls and fences to get hay to the horses and make sure they were ok and watered. The snow was drifting and was horrendously deep in parts.
“The horses were tucked up and warm in our barn it was just getting to them that was a problem but we managed it.
“The first day of the snow was the hardest as we were so cut off so several visits carrying heavy forage for them through waist high snow with no vehicular access was tough.
“Thankfully our farmer cleared our farm track for us by the end of day one so it enabled us on day two to at least get our 4×4 up the track and get food down to the horses several times a day much easier.”
