A Fife road was closed in both directions for several hours after a car struck a power line.
Police closed the A914 both ways following the accident near Pickletillum shortly before 12.30pm on Monday.
The route remained shut for around five hours before reopening shortly before 6pm.
A woman driving the Fiat Punto involved in the crash was uninjured, but power to homes in the Drumoig area has been affected as a result.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At this time, the road is expected to be closed until this evening while @ScottishPower work to repair the damage.”
The force later confirmed the route had reopened and was now available for the public to use.
It is unclear as yet whether the accident was caused by the weather, but police enquiries are continuing.
Scottish Power says it is working to restore power to properties, and said customers can tweet @SP_EnergyPeople if they have any questions.
It also urged people in the affected area to inform any elderly or vulnerable neighbours who may not have internet access that they can also call 0800 092 9290 with any queries.
