Two cars collided on a rural Fife road on Thursday night with one woman taken to hospital.
The accident occurred at the Springfield junction on the A914 just before 8pm. One female driver was taken to Ninewell Hospital in Dundee with chest pains while the other driver did not require treatment.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they attended the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a call about a road traffic collision between two cars at 7.43pm at the junction to Springfield and Cupar Muir.”
A SFRS spokeswoman said: “No persons were trapped however one female driver was taken to Ninewells for treatment.
