A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Kelty on Friday afternoon.
The incident was reported in Kelty’s Main Street shortly after 1pm today and it is understood the male rider of the motorbike has been rushed to Dundee’s Ninewells Hospital suffering from serious injuries.
Inquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances.
The road will remain closed between Adam Hunter Court and West Croft Way for the foreseeable future while collision investigations take place.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting incident number 1704 of April 6.
Police stressed that Main Street, Oak Street and Seafar Drive would be temporarily closed and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
