This year marks a century since the horror of the First World War finally ended.
As part of a series of events to commemorate the anniversary, The Courier will include a special free 24-page supplement on April 17.
With poignant soldiers’ stories, features on Julian the fundraising tank, the birth of the RAF, Courier Country’s battles on land, at sea and in the air, and other significant events of the last year of the First World War including the signing of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, the 100 Days war and, of course, the Armistice, the supplement also explores the story behind Dundee brothers and political activists Ewan and William Carr.
