Australian heartthrob Jason Donovan is to perform in Fife as part of his upcoming coming Midlife Crisis tour.
The singer and former Strictly Come Dancing Star will take to the stage at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline on September 12.
The 49-year-old actor has announced 28 extra UK dates including the rescheduling of three Scottish shows which were postponed due to bad weather in March.
The autobiographical performance will examine the last four decades of Donovan’s whirlwind life ahead of his 50th birthday.
Jason said: “When I first embarked upon this tour, I did not expect to get such an amazing response. If I’m honest I didn’t think anyone would be interested in my life story.
“But it’s so humbling to be selling out theatres across the country. My fans are the best.”
Best known for his performance in soap opera ‘Neighbours’, Donovan went on to score no fewer than 16 hit singles and sell over 30 million records.
He plans to share funny stories from his stints as radio DJ and actor as well as from his more conventional roles as a father, husband, brother and son.
The star, who famously collapsed on top of Jack Nicholson following a cocaine binge in January 1995, hopes to finally put his life into perspective for fans.
