Overturned car blocks A92 in Fife

Police are currently in attendance at a single vehicle crash which has blocked the northbound carriageway on the A92.

The accident happened shortly after 1pm between Halbeath and Cowdenbeath.

Initial reports indicate that no-one is seriously injured but the ambulance service is currently in attendance.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are also at the scene but it is understood that all the people involved managed to get out the car.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The ambulance service are in attendance and the carriageway is blocked as a result.

“Motorists are urged to avoid the area for the time being”.
