A man and a woman have been arrested after an alleged attempted murder in the Gallatown area of Kircaldy.
Police swooped on Miller Street, near Fife Ice Arena, after a 48-year-old man was attacked at around 4pm on Saturday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police in Fife arrested a 35-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman in connection with the attempted murder of a 48-year-old man in the Miller Street area of Kirkcaldy, which took place at around 4pm on Saturday April 21.
“This incident resulted in a large police presence in the area.
“Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3009 of April 21. Alternatively members of the public can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
