The accident happened on the B981 between Cardenden and Lochgelly at around 2:45pm. The road, which is near the cemetery, is currently blocked and drivers are asked to avoid the area. Neither driver is understood to have suffered serious injuries but have both been taken to the Victoria Hospital. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were called to the B981 at around 2:45pm following reports of a collision between a van and a car. “The collision took place near the cemetery between Lochgelly and Cardenden. “Thankfully there are not thought to be any serious injuries as a result. “The drivers of both vehicles have both been taken to Victoria Hospital and recovery of the vehicles has been arranged.”
