Police were called to the scene on the eastbound carriageway at around 4:20pm. The crash involved a silver Peugeot and a grey Volvo. No one is understood to have suffered any serious injuries however an ambulance is on scene. A fire engine is also in attendance. The road is currently closed due to an obstruction and both vehicles require recovery.
