Glenrothes road reopens following accident

Leslie Road in Glenrothes has reopened following a road accident.

Drivers were being urged to avoid the new town road as police dealt with a road accident.

The accident, in which no one appears to have been badly injured, happened near Riverside Park in the town at around 3pm on Saturday.

The Scottish Ambulance Service was also in attendance as a precaution.

The road reopened at around 4pm.
