Motorists faced delays on the A92 through central Fife on Wednesday morning because of two accidents. The separate incidents happened on the westbound carriageway near the Lochgelly interchange. No one was seriously hurt in either of the accidents, said a Police Scotland spokesman. The first happened at 8.22am at the Lochgelly westbound off slip and involved three vehicles. The second happened around 400 metres from the first on the westbound carriageway. As emergency services rushed to the scene, long tailbacks soon developed in the morning rush hour.
