A man has died after suffering serious head injuries in Kirkcaldy. Police have confirmed they are investigating the sudden death, which they believe to be the result of a tragic accident. Officers cordoned off a block of flats at Williamson’s Quay next to the town’s harbour on Wednesday night after the man’s body was discovered. A number of police cars were stationed outside as the probe got under way. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Whilst the investigation is at an early stage, initial inquiries suggest it has been a tragic accident. “Anyone with any information should contact police on 101, quoting reference number 3548 of May 16.”
