A woman was rushed to hospital following a police car chase which ended with a smash in Cowdenbeath.
Police were pursuing a Ford Fiesta which collided with four parked vehicles, one of which the woman was in.
A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the incident on Friday morning.
The chase began in Kirkcaldy shortly after 11am, when police were alerted to a suspicious vehicle.
The silver Fiesta was followed to Broad Street, in Cowdenbeath, where the collision occurred.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police in Fife were called to the Craigfoot Place area of Kirkcaldy around 11.10am on Friday June 15 following a report of a suspicious vehicle.
“A silver Ford Fiesta made off from officers and a pursuit was initiated.
“The Fiesta collided with four parked vehicles in the Broad Street area of Cowdenbeath and came to a stop.
“A 47-year-old woman, who was within one of the parked vehicles, was taken to Victoria Hospital.
“Two males, aged 19 and 17, were arrested in connection with this and enquiries are ongoing.
