Image DC Thomson A woman has been taken to hospital following a two car crash in St Andrews. Emergency services were called to the scene on Gibson Place at around 1.45pm on Friday. The ambulance, fire service and police were all in attendance outside the New Golf Club. The driver of a Volkswagen Golf was cut free from the car by fire crews before being taken to hospital. Her condition is unknown. It is understood that the driver of a Jaguar also involved in the collision was uninjured. The crashed vehicles blocked the road for two hours before being cleared at around 3.45pm.
