A St Andrews student who died tragically earlier this year has been laid to rest near his home town in the Borders.
Duncan Sim, who was 19, was last seen alive leaving leaving a social event at Madras Rugby Club in St Andrews on March 14.
A major search operation was launched in the hope of finding the first year chemistry undergraduate but, sadly, his remains were eventually discovered in the water at West Sands on June 3.
His heartbroken family later paid tribute to a much loved son, brother, uncle and friend.
Duncan was laid to rest at Hundy Mundy Wood, a natural burial ground in the Borders.
After the ceremony, tributes were paid to Duncan at Duns Rugby Club, where the keen sportsman played for the local team.
