A man has been arrested following an incident outside Tesco Extra in Dunfermline.
Officers were called to reports of a confrontation last Thursday.
Police said a 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of inappropriate communications.
It comes after officers were called to the Greenshank Drive area of the town on Thursday July 8.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police in Fife have arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with a report of inappropriate communications.
“Inquiries remain ongoing.”
Thousands of people viewed a live video posted on Facebook by a self-proclaimed online vigilante group. It showed a man being approached by group members and quizzed about his behaviour online.
