Pranksters have caused havoc at a popular Fife beauty spot – prompting police to appeal for witnesses.
Officers were called to the picturesque Aberdour Castle on Friday morning after three picnic tables were bizarely perched on one of the historic structure’s walls.
Damage was caused to the benches, while plant pots, a bin and part of the original wall were also targeted by the vandals.
A Police Scotland spokesman described the actions of the culprits as “mindless behaviour” which “won’t be cheap to repair”.
