A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Dunfermline on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Kingseat Road area near Halbeath shortly after 2.05pm following a report of an accident.
Police have confirmed that a female cyclist, who is understood to be in her 20s, was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Zafira near a roundabout and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
She was then taken to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital for further treatment.
No further details about her condition are available at this time.
Officers are still at the scene and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
