Two people have been hurt in a road accident in north-east Fife.
Part of the A92 was closed for more than an hour following the accident near Luthrie at around 11.15am on Sunday.
It is not yet known how badly injured the man and woman are but witnesses reported seeing two ambulances rush to the scene.
One of the two vehicles involved was a red Vauxhall.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At about 11.15am on Sunday, August 5, police responded to a report of a two-car road traffic collision on the A92 near Kilmany.
“Police and other emergency services attended and it was established a male and female had both sustained injuries.”
The road reopened at around 12.30pm.

The accident was one of two on the A92 on Sunday morning.
A car overturned between Cowdenbeath and the M90 at around 10.55am.
There was no indication anyone had been hurt.
One lane of the southbound carriageway was blocked and motorists were advised to take care while passing.
