A woman, said to be in her 70s, was airlifted to hospital by a UK Coastguard helicopter after suffering chest pains on the Fife Coastal Path between Crail and Anstruther. The RNLI footage from the rescue on the Fife Coastal Path between Crail and Anstruther. Anstruther’s inshore and all-weather lifeboats responded to the incident. In the video RNLI crew members are seen administering first aid to the woman as she is comforted by a man. Resting against a rock as they arrive, she told the rescuers: “I had a pain in my chest, I couldn’t breathe”. Her condition is said to have improved by the time she left the scene.
