A woman has had a fairly lucky escape after her car overturned in Cupar on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Balgarvie Road at around 9.25am following reports of a Ford Fiesta on its roof.
The road was closed as police and fire personnel attended, and the female driver of the car was checked over at the scene by paramedics.
However, Police Scotland confirmed the woman had not suffered any serious injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said two appliances from Cupar had been called out, but no-one had been trapped in the vehicle and firefighters were only involved in making the scene safe.
An investigation into what caused the accident is under way.
