A man has died after falling from the window of a flat in Inverkeithing.
Emergency services raced to the scene on the town’s Hope Street at around 8.15am on Friday.
The 43-year-old man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
An area has been cordoned off by police officers as investigations into the tragic discovery take place.
Whilst enquiries are an at early stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman said: “Police in Fife were called to a block of flats in Hope Street, Inverkeithing, at around 8.15am on Friday following a report that a 43-year-old man had sadly been found dead.
“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
