Drivers in Fife are being urged to use caution after heavy rainfall resulted in high amounts of surface water on the county’s roads.
Police were called to a single vehicle accident on the M90 southbound near junction 8 at around 12.30pm on Saturday.
One car had aqua planned due to the poor conditions and had veered off the road.
The driver is understood to have escaped serious injury and recovery of the vehicle is being arranged.

One lane remains partially blocked but traffic is still moving however drivers are being urged to approach with caution.
Traffic Scotland have issued a warning about heavy surface water for the whole Fife area which will remain in place throughout the day.
The guidance also extended to cover the Perth and Kinross area who have also been affected by heavy rainfall.
