A driver was clocked travelling at more than twice the speed limit near a hospital and college in Dunfermline.
Camera operators were shocked to see the motorist hit 67mph on Halbeath Road passing Lynebank Hospital and Fife College.
The busy section of the A907 has a 30mph speed limit and people have been hurt in accidents there before.
Safety Cameras Scotland said the male driver, who they recorded on Thursday, would be hearing from its east unit soon and reported to the Procurator Fiscal for the offence.
East Safety Camera Unit manager, Andy Jones, said: “The reason a safety camera van visits this location is because there is a history of people being injured on this road.
“This is a busy location and has a college and hospital nearby.
“This driver has paid no heed to the speed limit and has put his own and other lives at risk by driving so recklessly.”
