The accident happened outside the Fife Ice Arena on Rosslyn Street at around 10.15pm on Saturday. The boy was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries. It is understood that the child had been at the clash between Fife Flyers and the Sheffield Steelers. The road was closed for around an hour while accident investigation work was carried out. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “He was conscious and breathing. The boy was taken to hospital as a precaution. He was walking and talking. “The road was initially closed at the north end at 10.24pm and we left at 11.18pm.”
