Police have closed off a busy Methil road after the partial collapse of a chimney.
Officers were called to the scene on Wellesley Road on Sunday afternoon following reports that masonry had fallen onto the pavement below.
A car parked outside the property was left with a cracked windscreen after ceramic shards fell on top of it.
Thankfully no one was injured during the incident. The road remains cordoned off to allow for safety inspection to be carried out by Fife Council.
The Police have closed Wellsley Road is currently closed between Tower Bar and McDonald Street so the Fife Service will divert via Fisher Street and Lower Methil until further notice.
