Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses following three break-ins at business premises in the Rosyth and Dunfermline areas.
The first incident happened around 4.30 am on Monday 19 November when three men entered the TanXpress tanning salon and then made off in a silver 4×4 Jeep style vehicle in a southward direction towards the Queensferry Crossing.
One man is described as aged between 16 and 20-years-old, around 5ft 7ins tall. He was wearing grey skinny jeans, a black puffer style jacket and had a scarf over his face.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Dow of Dunfermline CID said: “Thankfully nothing was taken from the premises during this incident.
“We are committed to bringing the perpetrators of break-ins to justice so we are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious.
“In particular we would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a silver 4×4 jeep style vehicle in the area, both before and after the incident.”
The second incident happened between 10.30 pm on Sunday 18 November and 8.30am on Monday 19 November in the Aberdour Road area of Dunfermline when property was taken from Barnardo’s.
Another premises was also entered during this time but nothing was taken.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Dow continued: “We would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in this area or nearby in the Skylark Road and Carnegie Campus area overnight, or who may have captured any suspicious vehicles on private CCTV or dash cam footage, to come forward.
“We are treating these three incidents as linked and officers are carrying out inquiries to identify those responsible.
“We are committed to helping to keep business premises safe.
“Anyone who has information about any of these incidents is asked to contact Dunfermline CID on 101, quoting incident 0349 of November 19, or contact the charity Crimestopper anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
