Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left seriously injured following a road rage incident in Levenmouth.
The confrontation took place at around 8pm on October 31 in the Lundin Links area following a dispute between two drivers.
A 64-year-old man was subsequently assaulted and left with a serious injury to his arm.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 50’s who is around 5ft 5in tall and of a stocky build.
He has short hair and was wearing a dark coloured jacket and shoes.
Investigators believe the alleged attacker may be called Billy.
He was driving a silver or grey coloured Toyota estate car which left the area after the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to help trace the man involved is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3965 of October 31.
