A Glenrothes roundabout was closed to traffic due to flooding from a burst water main.
Police closed part of Western Avenue and diverted motorists away from Coul roundabout.
Scottish Water said there was a burst pipe in Pitcairn Avenue.

The problem was reported on Sunday morning on the B969, the main route into Glenrothes town centre from the A92 at Balfarg.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “Our team have identified a burst water main on Pitcairn Avenue, Glenrothes.
“Repairs are underway however there should be no customer supplies impacted by this.”
