Around 15 firefighters tackled the blaze in Saline at its height on Sunday afternoon. Police advised motorists to avoid the area, where a huge plume of smoke could be seen rising over houses in Main Street. Both Main Street and Oakley Road were closed for around two hours. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fife and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a fire at 12.58pm. “We had three appliances in attendance.” The last remaining crew of firefighters left the scene at around 3pm. ⛔ ROAD CLOSED ⛔️.
