Police in a Fife town have uploaded a hilarious video on their efforts to combat crime in the local community.
Officers in Glenrothes shared the “Local Priorities” video to their Twitter account complete with over the top action movie music, a Hollywood-esque sci-fi opening sequence and end credits to boot.
The social media post was shared with the “it’s what we do” hashtag which is commonly used by police forces across the world.
The clip encompasses the Fife Police Division’s Paramount, Prospect, Principle, Path and Prevail operations to combat road safety, drug misuse, acquisitive crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.

The video clip makes liberal use of the Ken Burns editing effect as it shows photographs from local policing efforts – including images of patrols, police dogs and drug raids.
The tongue-in-cheek final sequence credits @Glenrothespol with the writing, editing, production design, photography, casting, music, costume design, production and direction of the video.
It also states that the film is a “Glenrothes Local Priorities production in association with iMovie”.
