St Andrews street cordoned off following crash

Part of a St Andrews street was sealed off on Friday after a one car accident.

The incident happened in Bell Street,  near its junction with St Mary’s Place, at about 2.40pm.

A white Mercedes car collided with a pole at a pedestrian crossing.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said there were no injuries.
