Police in Fife have appealed for information after a fishing boat was stolen in the North Queensferry area.
The vessel had been stored on a trailer at the harbour in the Battery Road area when it was taken sometime between 1pm on Saturday January 5 and 8am on Monday January 7.
The boat, which has words ‘Scotch Myst’ written on the side, is described as a 14 foot Mayland with a yellow cabin and white hull, with a Johnson outboard engine.
It was covered by a black weather protector when it was stored on the trailer.
PC Martin Cooper of Dunfermline Police Station said: “We’ve been conducting a number of enquiries since this was reported and are now asking for the public’s help.
“Anyone who may have seen the boat being transported from the area, or who has information on its current whereabouts, is asked to get in touch as soon as possible.”
Those with information can call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1439 of January 7, or report this anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
