Police have confirmed two teenagers have been charged in connection with a major incident at Dunfermline High School on Friday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police in Fife can confirm that a boy and a girl, both aged 13, have been charged in connection with an incident at a school in Dunfermline on 18th January.”
They added that a report will be submitted to the Children’s Reporter.
Up to 12 emergency service vehicles raced to the school after reports some young pupils had taken ill after apparently taking unknown tablets during their lunch break.
Four youngsters were taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment while a further six S2 and S3 pupils were treated by paramedics at the scene.
