High winds have caused a power cut in the Dunfermline area.
Scottish Power Networks said the outage was affected a “significant” number of customers in the KY11 and KY4 areas, particularly the Halbeath area of Dunfermline.
Traffic lights were out at the Halbeath roundabout and Police Scotland urged drivers to exercise caution on the route.
Businesses at the Fife Leisure Park at Duloch are among those affected.
The fault on the network is thought to have been caused by downed power lines and Scottish Power said it hoped to have power restored by mid-afternoon.
“Our control centre will attempt to reset the network remotely and our engineers are making their way to site to investigate and repair the fault,” it said.
“We expect power to be back on by 2.45pm and will make every effort to contact you if the situation changes.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
