The 35-year-old was hit close to the Iron Bridge in Leven at around 7.30pm. The bridge was closed following the incident to allow police to investigate the circumstances. Police and an ambulance rushed to the scene to give assistance to the male, whose injuries are not known at this stage. A police spokesperson said: “One person was injured following a road traffic collision near the Iron Bridge. “This is an ongoing investigation and therefore we cannot comment further at this time.”
